„Braunform – socially engaged“
Support of different projects and donation to „Médecins sans Frontières“
02.12.2014
In 2014 Braunform’s social point of view again was „Braunform – socially engaged“: In addition to the support of projects proposed by employees, the regional company also donates 4.000 € to the international organization „Médecins sans Frontières“
For some years Braunform has already renounced the distribution of Christmas presents for making a donation. This year, the company has decided to support the international organization „Médecins sans Frontières“ with the sum of 4,000 €. The Ebola epidemic in South Africa is just the tip of the iceberg of worldwide emergency medical assistance in over 60 conflict affected countries that the humanitarian organization coordinates.
As a regional SME Braunform assumes its social and cultural responsibility to its employees and the society.
Every year the management also supports various projects proposed by its employees with a total sum of 2,500 €. This year there was a broad range of associations, such as youth and sport clubs, schools and kindergartens.
Erich and Pamela Braun are convinced that "people are the greatest asset". Due to this the working environment must be the right one. In addition to values such as mutual respect, humanity and openness, there are also individual development opportunities and many actions for employees for shaping the human relations. The internal knowledge management, from technical presentations to Excel software trainings, or e. g. a Fruit Day and skin cancer screenings are available. An annual Children's Day for employees' children or specially provided parking for carpools are just a few more points.
