Training day at Braunform in Bahlingen

With the motto "We for your future", Braunform GmbH presented its 8th training day. Therefore, the company invited interested students and their parents to visit the plant in Bahlingen/Germany on Saturday, July 18, 2015. About 60 visitors could get both information about the company and training opportunities, as well as participating in a company tour.

After a welcome and company presentation by HR Manager Oliver Bornhäuser at 10 am., the apprentices themselves gave an insight into their daily routines and presented their respective education: Industrial Clerk (m / f), Toolmakers (m / f), Process Engineer (m / f), Mechatronic (m / f), IT Specialist (m / f) and Technical Product Designer (m / f). For high school graduates a dual study in mechanical engineering, specializing in plastics engineering was presented. The subsequently performed company tour was complemented by a question and answer session with trainees and trainers with snacks and drinks.

The conclusion of both the participants and the organizers was very positive. For Braunform the training of young people is an essential pillar of the corporate strategy and personnel development, not only in view of the increasing demand for skilled workers due to demographic change. The trainers were able to achieve their goal, to get a personal impression of potential applicants and to provide information to them.

Braunform considers its training and apprenticeship of young people to be extremely important. On July 16, 2015 a parent afternoon took place with this year’s starting apprentices. Parents and apprentices had the opportunity to learn how education is lived and organized at Braunform. Among other things, important for parents is that they can see for themselves the future training center of their offspring. And it is important for the new apprentices to feel picked up at their step in a new phase of life.
