13.09.2024

From humble beginnings with just four employees to a team of over 380 - Braunform GmbH has undergone impressive development over the years. Many of today's employees started their professional journey here and have since become indispensable pillars of the company.

In September, the company's owners, General Managers and HR management gathered to honor several employees who can look back on a proud 210 years of service. Henry Breisacher, Thomas Adler, Frank Haag, Sonja Kipper as well as Sven Kreutner and David Matthis. All of them started their journey into the professional world with an apprenticeship at Braunform - a sign of the strong roots and close ties with the company in times when career changes have become the norm.

‘It is an extraordinary opportunity to honor seven employees with a total of 45, 40, 30 and 10 years of service,’ emphasizes Pamela Braun, Managing Director of Braunform GmbH. ‘Their extensive expertise and many years of experience are crucial to our success. In addition, you are always willing to share your knowledge with the younger generation and thus secure the future of our company. I have great respect for this and would like to thank my colleagues. I really enjoy working with you, we have come a long way together and I look forward to the years that lie ahead.’

Joachim Stiller, General Manager of the company, adds: ‘In this day and age, it is a special honor to work successfully for one and the same company for such a long time. This loyalty can no longer be taken for granted.’

The success story of Braunform GmbH reflects the strength and innovative power of companies in this region. Braunform has developed from a craft business into a high-tech company in the field of mold making and plastics technology with international influence. Qualified employees are the key to the company's future viability. In addition to training, internal further training measures also play a decisive role at Braunform.

Henry Breisacher began his training as a toolmaker at Braunform GmbH on 1 September 1979. Since completing his training, Mr. Breisacher has worked in EDM until 1993, when he took over the management of the die-sinking and wire-cutting departments and played a decisive role in shaping them. In 1994, the tool specialist became a master craftsman. In 2008, he also took over as deputy production manager for mold making. For several years now, he has been responsible as production manager for the so-called production area 2, namely the areas of modifications / repairs / spare parts as well as laser welding and blasting technology, for whose development he is largely responsible. Colleagues and superiors appreciate his high level of expertise, his calm and serious character garnished with a healthy pinch of humor.

Mr. Thomas Adler began his training as a toolmaker at Braunform GmbH on 1 September 1984. In 1996, he successfully passed his master craftsman's examination and took over the management of CAM. In 2000, he also took over the management of machining production. In 2008, he reorientated himself within the company and contributed his many years of experience in the areas of costing, technical support and work preparation. Today, he is Technical Director of Mold Making and an authorized signatory of the company.

Frank Haag also completed his training as a toolmaker at Braunform GmbH. Since his apprenticeship, Mr. Haag has been a team member in the milling department and a reliable specialist in the area of 5-axis machines. For example, he was instrumental in the introduction of 5-axis machines and external programming with Hyper Mill. His calmness and expertise characterize him as a valued colleague, which is also reflected in the fact that he is a member of the company's works council.

Sonja Kipper began her training as an industrial clerk on 1 September 1994 - at that time still using a typewriter and the first computers. After successfully completing her training, she was taken on directly in the financial accounting department. However, she later found her calling in HR. Thanks to her growing experience, the HR officer was able to establish herself as an important member of the team and is primarily responsible for recruitment, wages and salaries. As commercial training manager, she is also intensively involved in the training of young trainees. After all, they shape the future of the family-run company.
