Braunform invests in its training center
19.11.2020
As an innovative family business Braunform attaches great importance to investing in machinery in order to expand and technologically adapt it to future market requirements. In addition to investments in various areas of the mold shop, the training center is also part of the investment strategy this year. Two new milling machines can be put into operation these days.
The new CNC milling machines of the manufacturer FPS Type 620 M-NC are equipped with modern Heidenhain controls TNC620 FS with touch screen. Thanks to their user-friendliness and good ergonomics, they are an ideal first step into the milling process. A key can be used to choose between a manual operating mode for beginners or CNC machining for more advanced specialists. The trainees are thus kept up to date with the latest technology and are ideally equipped for working in the specialist departments.
The medium-sized company has always focused on the topic of training and places great emphasis on improving the quality of training sustainably. In addition to supervision by a highly qualified training team, modern training directly in the production process with the latest machine equipment is an essential component of the training concept. Each year 12-14 apprentices and students of the DHBW are intensively trained and taught. On average, more than 40 junior employees pass through their education in the company in parallel. Braunform is also creating career prospects for the training period in 2021 and is currently still offering apprenticeships as toolmakers (m/f/d) and mechatronic engineers (m/f/d).
