Braunform once again embraces solidarity: donations instead of Christmas gifts

18.12.2024

It has become a tradition for Braunform to forgo sending Christmas presents to customers and instead donate to socially engaged organizations. This year, the donations went to two institutions that are devoted to caring for people affected by illness or disability: Haus Johannes - Caritasverband Freiburg-Stadt e. V. in Bahlingen a. K. and Villa Schwobthaler e. V. in Endingen a. K.

The social stance “Braunform – We Act” is very important to the company and is once again firmly anchored in the corporate policy this year. Pamela Braun, Managing Director and Owner, emphasizes the importance of solidarity in difficult times. “It is important to us to help people in our region who are in need of support.”

Haus Johannes in Bahlingen offers a loving home to 34 people with various, including multiple, disabilities. Additionally, short-term care places are offered. The donation will be used to finance leisure activities that help residents make their everyday lives more varied and enjoyable.

Villa Schwobthaler e. V. operates a residential community for people with dementia in Endingen. Care and support are provided by a team of professionals and volunteers who create a structured daily routine and individual offerings for the residents. The association plans to use the donation to purchase a Snoezelen cart, which can help reduce agitation with light reflections, sound, and scent elements.

Both institutions received 1,500 euros each. “We are pleased to contribute to the well-being and joy of the residents with our donations,” said Pamela Braun. “We are proud to be part of a social and responsible community.”
